The difference is that instead of adjusting TDPs based on just APU temperatures, it adjusts clocks based on load, power limits, and temperatures. My main temperature concerns are with the cpu reaching like 90-93C threw most of my gaming experience (obviously matters what game) but these are the two opinions i keep hearing.
